Can't Stick To Your Weight Loss Program? Here's Why

Woman Sad about Dieting

By Erin Upshaw

Many people are very similar to you. They are tired of
constantly trying new exercises and diets that just will
never work. You're motivated at first, but as time progresses
you become tired of it, and you feel as if you have failed
again.

Does this sound like you? Are you wondering why you cannot
stick to your weight loss program? Well, so are many others.
There are many factors that could explain why you cannot
stick to your weight loss program, and this article will
examine a few of them in depth.

Your program may have been a bad program that resulted in
failure. Maintaining an extreme diet will fail on you
because it is too difficult to maintain. Eating specific
fruits or performing weird exercises or workouts for long
periods of time is eventually not sustainable. If you're
looking to stay slim, you've got to pick a routine that you
can maintain consistently for the long-term.

A lack of support from family and friends causes many to
quit their diets. Maybe your family and friends didn't
provide the support you needed in order to say no to that
bite of rich dessert. It could be possible that your
friends had no faith in you or your diet. A fact of life is
the fact that support is critical when focusing on weight
loss. Try joining a weight loss group with others that are
in the same situation, or consider hiring a personal trainer
that will keep you motivated towards your goals.

You could have been dieting incorrectly while exercising too
much, or even dieting without doing a single exercise
routine. The results you expected didn't happen and led you
to quit what you were doing and loose focus. Both diet and
exercise are a necessary combination when doing a workout
program in order to lose weight. No matter what plan,
program, or diet you choose, you must combine a balance of
diet and exercise.

Another reason was that you expected results far too
quickly. Diets take time to work, and your body may take
even more time to adjust to your new diet before weight loss
is noticed. Your body is resistant and will require you to
use diet and exercise to steer it to shed pounds. Stick to
a well designed program, and the results you want will be
achieved.

A final reason for you to quit your weight loss program
could be that you lacked a bona fide commitment. It is
impossible to begin a new lifestyle with only half the
motivation. Diet and exercise plans require full mental
commitment. You will find yourself taking shortcuts around
your diet and become frustrated when the scale goes up not
down. Personally commit to this workout plan from day 1 and
don't look back. Remember that if you continue to do what
you always did then you will get what you always got.

Most people advertise all kinds of secrets to weight loss,
but the secret never really was a secret. It's the one
truth that we all know: a lifestyle with a healthy diet and
exercise are what will help us all lose weight and stay in
shape. There are no secret tricks or shortcuts to becoming
healthy. You've just read the trick for yourself. You will
not find a "fat buster" cure besides a healthy diet and
exercise. Do your research, pick a workout plan that you
will enjoy, and stay with it. Remember to aim for realistic
and achievable goals and you will be sure to shed those
unwanted pounds.

The 7 Secrets To A Thin Figure

Vinyl Ready Art - Wrestling and Martial Arts

Everyone is intrigued by thin people. We wonder what it
will take for us to get that kind of figure or if the thin
are that way because of their family characteristics. Did
they hit a lucky streak? Or must they work extra hard
to keep that svelte figure.

Well, yes, and no

Those who are really thin likely work really hard to stay
thin. These are the folks who watch every single calorie
that crosses their hips and eat rabbit food with no
dressing.

There is a whole other group of thin people that make being
thin look easy.

Many common character traits are shared by the naturally
thin that help to maintain their svelte figures. If you can,
try to identify with some of them. Also, see what changes you
could easily make to become a naturally thin person with a
svelte figure too.

1. Thin is the thinking of the day with thin people. They
KNOW they will be thin forever. They never talk about being
fat, or not having enough to eat. They tell themselves thin
stuff and their reaction to circumstances is different.
They don't use food to placate themselves if something
unpleasant happens or go on an eating binge when
procrastinating. They don't see food as anything more than
as fuel for their bodies. They may enjoy it, but that is
all there is to it.

2. Thin people don't diet. True Fact. Dieting would never
enter the thoughts of these naturally thin adults. You ask
Why?, because they have never had to and have never thought
of themselves as anything but thin. If you ask a thin person
if they were concerned about becoming heavy and their
response invariably is no! When pressed as to why:
because Ive never been overweight.

3. The naturally thin don't mix emotions and food. If the
thin are sad, they cry or call a friend. If they are angry,
they go work out or punch their pillows. There is little to
no crossover between emotions and eating. It simply doesn't
make sense to them. The only reason food is ever thought of
is because they get hungry, that's it. If they are not
hungry, but sad, they will deal with their sadness. Dealing
with emotions in an emotional way is commonplace for this
thin group.

4. The naturally thin can be social without eating. If the
thin are invited to a bbq and they aren't hungry, they have
no problem standing around not eating. If and when they get
hungry, they will gladly grab a dog or burger, but not until
then. They go to a bbq to enjoy the company of friends and
family. Grazing for the simple act of grazing is not an
option.

5. Naturally thin people eat what they love. They would
never think of eating celery sticks unless they were craving
celery sticks. And when they are hungry, they eat foods they
crave. They never deprive themselves of something by saying
no, I can't have that. They know they can eat anything they
want when they are hungry. They don't say no to any food
unless they are sensitive or allergic to specific foods.

6. Naturally thin people never eat just for the sake of
eating or to numb themselves
. They are conscious of the
effect what they eat have on their bodies. They probably
wouldn't be found at the movies with their hand at the bottom
of the empty bucket of popcorn looking around for who ate it
all. Naturally thin people pay attention to how hungry or
full they are from the time they begin eating until they
have finished the meal. These people don't know anything
about diets, counting calories or any other shenanigans.

7. These thin people never overeat. They are appalled by
overeating. They know it sucks their energy and bloats
their stomachs. The extreme discomfort prevents them
from repeating the experience and reinforces the negative
aspect of overeating. Average naturally thin people overeat
less than two percent of the time.

See, there is a difference in their mindset and their
actions.

Now you know that thin has nothing to do with luck, or
genetics, the quality or type of food. Thin people don't
gain weight because of how they eat, their connection with
their body, when they eat and the freedom to choose any type
of food.

Having said that, if you're thinking about losing weight,
now is the time to do it. You don't have to diet. The naturally
thin don't.

Milk - Good Or Bad For Your Health?

Health Food Junk Food

So you think that milk is good for your body? If yes then
you really need to read this article in its entirety. Far
too many people believe this, and I cannot blame anybody
for this because the dairy industry is responsible for spreading
this falsehood. They claim that milk will help strengthen
your bones because of the presence of calcium in it.
They also claim that milk will give you such an energy boost
that you will feel like a superman. Obviously, they want you
to believe this way so that they can cash in on your gullibility.
However, just as some other myths are doing the rounds of the weight
loss industry, this is also a myth.

Surprisingly, the milk you purchase from your local store
is not pure milk:
it has been processed with the help of
pasteurization, meaning that it has been boiled at a
temperature of 160 centigrade and then cooled down. Milk is
pasteurized in order to kill any and all the germs present
in the raw milk. On the flip side, pasteurization not only
kills the germs, but also the beneficial nutrients present
in it. Enzymes such as lipase and phosphates can be very
beneficial to your body, but you won't enjoy its benefit in
the pasteurized milk that you purchase from your local shop.

That is not however the end of the story. Pasteurization
also kills antibodies such as immunoglobulin that is present
in raw milk. Immunoglobulin protects your body against
various diseases. In my opinion, milk does not benefit you,
at least not the one that comes in sealed packets.

After pasteurization is completed, the milk is homogenized
to maintain the cream at the bottom. Once this process is
done, several synthetic vitamins are added to it in order to
make it 'nutritious'. However, remember that synthetic
vitamins are not and can never be substitutes for natural
vitamins. They are man-made chemicals and will do more
harm than good.

Milk causes weight gain: Contrary to what you have been
told, milk will actually make you fatter instead of
losing weight. If you are in the habit of drinking milk
frequently, it is not shocking that you have become
overweight. As you drink more and more milk, you will gain
more and more weight.

Milk causes a host of other diseases: Besides weight
gain, there are a lot of harmful side effects of drinking
milk, such as arthritis, constipation, skin allergies,
cancer, acne, etc.

Do you still want to drink milk? I hope not.

Turbulence Training - Scam Or The Real Deal

I assume that you are reading this article because you have
read about the Turbulence Training program but there's some
skepticism over its effectiveness. For this purpose, I would
not waste space by going into details about the program. The
thing I am going to discuss in this article is whether the
Turbulence Training program is for real or a scam.

Here are some of the key points I found out about the Turbulence
Training program:

1. You will lose fat and gain muscle: The ultimate focus of
any individual should be not just to lose fat, but also gain
muscle. This is because muscles are the only things that
can make your body stronger. Muscles also keep fat away;
since muscles demand a lot of energy to maintain them, your
body uses its surplus energy on these muscles instead of
storing it as fat!

With the TT program, you can not only lose weight, but also
gain valuable lean muscle and become healthy and strong.

2. You will need to work on the system at least 3 times per
week:
If you expect to see any immediate results from the
Turbulence Training program then this is not for you as
results may take time. Like most other legitimate weight loss
programs, you won't see any results until after a couple of
weeks have passed!

Also like any other weight loss program you need to be
committed to TT. You need to work on the system for at least
three times per week in order to see any tangible results.
If you are not someone who can remain committed to a fitness
program for a considerable time period, then I'm afraid that
TT is not for you.

3. It consists of an intense training and workout program:
Exercises are the focal point of the TT program - intense
exercises at that. However not all body types are suitable
for intense exercises. In order to make sure that you are
fit for the Turbulence Training program, you should consult
with your doctor before starting the program.

4. Made for busy people: If you think it is difficult to
find time for exercises, then the Turbulence Training
program is for you. Since TT uses intense workouts to help
people lose weight, you won't have to spend three or four
hours at a gym. In fact, TT is suited for busy people. With
the TT program the excuse of 'I am to busy' has no substance
because you do not even need a gym.

Based on the above evaluation, and also the fact that it can
help one lose weight successfully, I can safely conclude
that the Turbulence Training program is a completely
legitimate weight loss program that really produces results!

The Weight Loss Tip That Will Change Your Life

By Henry John

Tell everybody that you're going to lose weight and you will
get inundated with advice. Whoever you talk to will warn you
what not to do and what to be aware of. It can become a bit
of a nightmare. You are left really not knowing what to do.

Which diet should you go on? There is always something new
on the market that is promising to rid you of your excess
weight without you having to lift a finger - and in double
quick time too. Then there are those who pass on their
experience of a program saying it's the best there is - or
is it?

If you are after a quiet life, the best thing you can do if
you want to lose weight is to tell nobody. People don't mean
any harm, in fact they want to support you. They mean well,
but they can also give you a lot of unwanted pressure, which
you can do without.

So, the first thing to do is to keep things to yourself. Do
your own research. Make your own decisions. If you rely too
much on the advice of others you will find out the truth the
hard way.

Don't go on a diet. This is probably the best tip that you
will ever get about losing weight. It sounds strange, but as
far as advice is concerned, it's gold dust!

Did you know that the diet industry is worth over $60
billion. It's huge. Surely it's right to assume that diets
work then? You would think so, but all is not quite as it
seems. Diets only deliver short-term weight loss. The
majority of people who go on diets never achieve permanent
weight loss.

So what's the answer? The simple fact is that if you want to
lose weight permanently you have to change. You have to get
rid of the habits that make you fat. You do this by learning
new ones - slim habits.

Learning new habits is the only sure fire way of making
changes. It means that you can learn new eating and lifestyle
habits that will be with you forever and it will allow you
to take control of your life so that you never have to go on
a diet again.

A speaker and author on dieting, healthy weight loss and how
to stay slim, Henry John's special interest is permanent
weight loss and behavior change. He is committed to
assisting people with weight loss tips and advising them on
the best way to lose weight so that they can achieve

Two Essential Food Repairs for Fast Weight Loss

You may be wondering: "what are food repairs for?" Well, as
a matter of fact, most of the diet plans out there have
certain common loopholes, and these food repairs are
processes to correct those loopholes. These loopholes, if
not corrected, would prevent you from losing weight and
might actually increase your body weight instead!

Many of the fad diet plans out there are either defective or
incomplete. If we follow these diets just as it is, then we
are certain to go in the wrong direction. For example, most
diets would advice you to reduce massively on your food
intake. When you do that, you will end up gaining weight
instead of losing it! On top of that, you will suffer from
malnutrition and lack of energy! Studies have pointed out
that women who eat 400 calories less than their specified
calorie requirements are likely to suffer from abdominal
obesity. As a result, they gain belly fat!

These food repairs will help you achieve your weight loss
goals quicker:

1. Focus on protein rather than carbs: While carbs are
an important ingredient of any healthy meal plan, what you
should focus on is protein, especially when you are trying
to lose weight. Unlike carbs which give you short, sudden
bursts of energy that last only for a short while, protein
will keep you energetic for a longer time. With carbs, your
body will receive more fat than energy; with protein, it is
just the opposite.

Protein also helps you build strong lean muscle mass. Since
lean muscles need a lot of energy to be maintained, your
body has to burn your existing fat deposits in order to
produce the extra energy. So that is another way protein can
help you with weight loss!

2. Skipping breakfast should be avoided: Skipping breakfast
is something most of the very overweight people do; they
have a tendency to think that they will lose weight if they
don't eat breakfast. This is the usual misconception.
Actually, the opposite happens. When you don't eat
breakfast, you are sending a signal to your body that there
is a famine out there, and that to combat it, your body
needs to store energy in the form of fat deposits.

When you starve, your body slows down your metabolism and
stores fat instead of burning it! As you can see, skipping
breakfast will have a negative effect on your body.

Breakfast is ideally there for one reason: to "break the
fast"; that is, to offer your body with the first surge of
energy of the day. When your body gets enough food, it
produces lots of energy and your metabolic rate is
automatically increased. When that happens, you start
losing weight!

5 Questions To Ask About Meal Replacement Diets

So you've decided to start a meal replacement program.
Before you begin however, you need to ask a few simple but
helpful questions. Protect you health, and save yourself
some money by first asking the following five questions:

1. Does the program work? The first question may seem
obvious, but many do not even bother to ask. Does the
program actually work? Your goal in being on any diet is
weight loss. Stray away from programs that cannot prove how
well they work or that do not provide any guidance or
support. If a program does what it says, it should be able
to provide success stories from some of its customers. If
it can't you should start looking elsewhere.

2. What kind of professional supervision is provided? A
meal replacement program should only be undertaken with
proper medical supervision. Medical evaluation and
emotional support are both very important in any weight loss
program, especially a meal replacement program. If you are
investing your time and money in a program, it should offer
you professional guidance by qualified professionals.

3. What kind of ongoing maintenance support do you offer?
Losing the weight is only the first step. It is the very
beginning of a lifelong change in lifestyle and dietary
habits. You will need support to stay on track once you've
reached your goal weight. Choose programs that help keep
you motivated and connected with follow up support, and
offer options for intervention should you start to regain
weight.

4. How much does it cost? The important point of this
question is not that you should try to skimp out and choose
the "cheapest" program, but you should choose a program that
gives you your money's worth. You could end up paying
thousands of dollars for food, enrollment fees, and other
hidden fees for a regimen that is poorly designed that
doesn't work. Furthermore, it may offer no training or
support. However, a program that is less expensive could be
highly effective. All in all, choose the best program that
fits your budget.

5. Are there hidden fees, and can you get a refund? A true
sign of confidence is a weight loss program that offers a
money back guarantee. A program that is confident in what
it can do will have no problems with offering to give you
your money back if you are not completely satisfied with the
results. Also, be careful of hidden fees, like additional
consultation and supplement fees. Reputable weight loss
programs will always be upfront with what it's going to cost
you to participate.
