By Jared Conley
You've been told a hundred times: it's impossible to build
muscle up and melt fat at the same time. You've been told that
building muscle involves an increase in calories, while fat
burning involves a decrease in calories. This conventional
wisdom is based in fact, but the beliefs are being tossed on
their ears with research into interval training. The truth
is, you can achieve muscle weight gain at the same time as
you burn fat if you add interval training to your sessions.
Interval training isn't new, but it's been more widely
understood, accepted, and implemented in recent years. While
standard cardiovascular training was looked at as the only
efficient way to shed fat, and the only effective workouts
for endurance athletes, high intensity interval training
(HIIT) has been shown to be advantageous to athletes in all
sports, and for people with wildly varying goals.
Standard aerobic activity is referred to as "steady state,"
which essentially means that you work up to a fixed
intensity level and continue working out at that level
throughout the workout. During the workout, your body gets
half of its fuel by burning fat, and gets the rest through
oxygen intake, and by tapping into your glycogen and muscle
stores.
Interval sessions, conversely, consist of short maximum
intensity intervals followed by lower intensity rest
periods. HIIT sessions are muscle sparing and are quick, but
pack a wallop. A fifteen-minute HIIT session can raise your
base metabolism for almost 24 hours, enabling you to
continue burning higher levels of fat for up to a day.
In addition to this, because your muscles consume calories
during every minute of the day, the more lean mass you have,
the more fat you burn, even while you're doing nothing.
Because HIIT not only spares your muscles, but also helps you
build muscles up, your future fat burning ability is
increased.
The bottom line is that regardless of your fitness goals,
HIIT sessions can help you increase your overall fitness
level with very short sessions. Better still, if your goals
include muscle building and fat burning, adding HIIT to your
workout schedule is a no-brainer.

Are You Ready For The White Tea Revolution?
By Jack Robbins
White tea and Green tea both find their roots in China
dating back to a few thousand years ago. Green tea has
become quite popular over the past decade particularly with
its ability to aid weight loss. Both originate from the same
Camilla sinensis plant.
The two herbal teas find their differences in benefit and
taste due to the way they are plucked from the Camilla
sinensis plant. White tea is plucked at a very early stage
when the leaves are still buds, while in the case of green
tea the leaf is left to grow a little before it is then
plucked.
White tea is soon going to be the talk of all weight loss
enthusiasts. Research has started showing that in many
aspects white tea is much more effective than green tea,
regarding weight loss in particular.
White tea contains three times more antioxidants than green
tea. Antioxidants have a lot of benefits, particularly for
people trying to lose weight. Antioxidants increase the
metabolism rate which in turn lets you lose weight almost
without effort. Antioxidants also help kill free radicals in
the skin which are responsible for aging.
White tea has a delightful and sweet taste in contrast to
green tea's rather bland taste. This is one of the main
reasons it can be a great aid to weight loss enthusiasts as
they will find it easier and fun to drink white tea and
follow the correct diet. White tea was historically treated
as a delicacy by Chinese people who reserved the wonderfully
tasting brew only for the upper class people.
The caffeine levels in white tea are much less compared to
green tea. Now, you can enjoy a refreshing drink without
having to worry about any side effects of caffeine to your
body.
White tea is in fact more effective as an alternative
treatment against cancer than green tea will ever be. It
simply has more antioxidants which can cripple the ability
of cancer cells as well as preventing new ones from
forming.
Green tea has had its days, watch out for a new form of tea
taking over the herbal tea arena by storm.

Improve Your Energy And Endurance With Liquid Oxygen
By Tracy Woods
A liquid oxygen supplement can boost your endurance and
energy levels. Most of these supplements are made with
water, sodium bicarbonate, electrolytes, potassium chloride,
and various other compounds. They not only improve
endurance, but they help with headaches, jet-lag, hangovers,
altitude sickness, and fatigue.
Studies have revealed that a healthy person only gets half
the amount of oxygen needed to enjoy life to the maximum.
Living in an environment that is oxygen deficient starves
body cells of nutrients. This prevents the flushing out of
waste and toxins which causes the blood to become poisoned
and dirty.
The human body is an incredible piece of machinery. In
addition to its numerous functions, it can also eliminate
dangerous organisms. The white blood cells fight off disease
by feeding super-oxide to the damaged cells. Super-oxide works
the same as nascent oxygen. This boost enables new white
cells to form and they instantly join the battle against the
disease.
If used as a supplement, oxygen continually helps the growth
of these vital new white cells in order to keep the body
energetic, healthy, and strong. When the oxygen is bottled,
stabilized oxygen is used to prevent the oxygen from being
released until it is needed. This is accomplished by the use
of compounds made of oxygen atoms that work as buffers.
Stress can be reduced by taking an oxygen supplement. When
we are stressed, breathing becomes shallow and fast. This
only accentuates the problem because the body is deprived of
oxygen. Additional oxygen will normalize the heart rate and
have an overall calming effect.
You can also use liquid oxygen as a nasal spray, inhaler,
mouthwash, gargle, and as a colon cleanser. Boost your pets'
energy levels and immune systems by adding it to their
drinking water. You can prevent bacteria from tainting your
fruit and vegetables by spraying them. Apply on indoor
plants to keep them healthy and fresh.

Five Fun Ways To Get In Shape
By Mckayla Anna
There are so many ways to get in shape, but they don't all
fill us with excitement! Getting fit is something that can
be fun, however, if you're a little creative about it. To
help you out I've put together five fun tips to help you get
fit again but without the traditional kind of exercise!
1) Dance Classes
One of the best fun ways to get in shape is to dance. There
are so many different types of dance class these days,
you're bound to find one that suits you. Better still, go
with a friend. It's a fantastic night out and you'll be
burning calories at the same time! When you're not out at
your class, just put on some uplifting music at home and
dance around the place. See how tired you get in just thirty
minutes - you'll be getting a fantastic workout without even
trying!
2) Play With Your Pet
If you have a dog then there's no better way to bond and
have some fun than going out for a long walk or run. Your
dog will love it: and you will too when you start to see
those pounds falling off! Even running around with them in
the back yard can have a great effect.
3) Play Some Sport
Most of us dread the idea of facing the gym regularly, but
doing something like sports with your friends can be a lot
easier to get your head around. Whatever sport you like,
even if you just end up playing catch, it'll get you moving
which will, in turn, get you back in shape without you even
realizing it.
4) Sign Up for A Charity Run
Doing a sponsored walk or run is one of the best ways to
earn some money for charity. What better motivation do you
need to get out there and to start exercising? Whenever
you're feeling tired or down about being active, just
remember that you're doing it for a fantastic reason.
5) Get A Fitness Game
These days, even playing a computer game can keep you fit!
Games such as the Wii Fit are now some of the most popular
ways to get in shape. They give you a real workout but they
make it fun, helping to take the pain out of exercising
regularly. Not only this, but they're a fraction of the cost
of buying a membership to the gym!
No matter how you exercise, have some fun! You'd even be
surprised at the

walking exercise benefits that you'll reap just by taking
your dog for a walk each day. If you still need a bit more

Bruce Lee or Michael Jackson - Who Has Had More Impact On The World?

By Al Case
Hate to be the one that points it out, but both Bruce Lee
and Michael Jackson happen to be dead. Period. End.
Which leaves us with the burning question, which one of
these superstars had more impact on the world. It doesn't
matter that they were in different areas, we can still put
'em up against each other. So, let's examine the issue.
Bruce Lee wins over MJ when it comes to acting. Heck,
Michael hardly made anything, so he gets a big time zero. On
the other hand, Bruce made a handful of movies that inspire
people to this day.
You could argue for MJ when it comes to singing, but Bruce
Lee is gonna come out on top again. The dilemma is that
Bruce Lee's vocals are more memorable than MJ's. I mean, are
you going to call that mugger a PYT, or give him a chilling
woop woop that will remind him that there are people in this
world who can kick some serious ass!
Believe it or not, Bruce Lee had better moves than Michael.
Michael couldn't kick somebody's adam's apple, or do the
splits or anything worthwhile, all he could do was walk
funny backwards. Bruce, on the other hand, could have
moonwalked like a genius.
Bruce wins on downright sheer impact. Michael encouraged a
generation of young, impressionable minds to walk backwards
funny, uh, walk funny backwards, uh, you know. Bruce, on the
other hand, encouraged several generations, and is still
going strong, as to the value of healthy living, being able
to protect yourself, living an artistic lifestyle, and on
and on and on.
I think it is obvious that Bruce wins, once again, and
bigger than ever, when it come to who had more
presence. Michael filled a boom box, and an occasional stage,
but he never said a line like..."you have offended my family,
you have offended Shaolin". Really, except for words from a
few songs that are hard to understand, can anybody remember
much of anything that Michael said?
So Bruce Lee would have kicked Michael Jackson's ass,
big time, dead or alive. Oh, you don't like it, you think I
rigged the results worse than an OJ trial? Well, you better
walk backwards funny away from me and mumble so I can't hear
what you say, because, my friend, I study Bruce Lee.

10 Ways To Increase Your Potassium Intake

By Daniel Jackson
Many people wonder why potassium is so important. The fact
is that your body would suffer terribly if you were to ever
have a deficiency. The first to suffer would be your heart,
it simply cannot function without it. A lack of potassium
would damage your cellular process and make you feel really
weak. Try not to ever get to the point of a potassium
shortage.
With the importance of potassium out of the way, lets get
down to how best to increase your intake.
1. Nuts and seeds have very high concentration of potassium
so eat as much nuts as you can, that should give you a good
dose to last you for the day.
2. If eating nuts is an issue then your next best bet would
be to eat a bowl of cereal which is high in potassium such
as bran flakes. While it might not seem palatable it does
work.
3. Eat some muesli and you won't have to eat the nuts or
seeds and you can definitely avoid the bran flakes.
4. Between breakfast and/or lunch, have a handful of dried
fruits. They are very high in potassium.
5. You can also mix dried fruits into a food of your choice
such as a salad where something sweet wont be noticed too
much.
6. Do you like raisins? If you do that's great news as they
are very high in potassium content and could be another
source.
7. Do you like baked potatoes? Then you're in luck, they are
very high in potassium content and a single baked potato
will go a long way in terms of your daily intake. This does
not mean that you should be mixing it with anything else like
sour cream or cheese etc. Just the baked potato.
8. This might taste a bit unusual but the Cuban delicacy of
boiled plantains is a great source of potassium.
9. Whole wheat pasta and tomatoes are another great source
of potassium.
10. If you like sardines then that's yet another option.
Feeling motivated to increase your potassium intake?
Considering that twenty percent of Americans have
acute potassium deficiency and we all know where that can
lead to. Make the change today and get healthy.

Core Strength And Fat Busting Cardio - The Key To A Lean Physique
Efficient food production in the world's top economies has
caused a glut of quick, irresistible food that's more often
than not cheap and loaded with calories. Fast food tends to
be unbalanced and is deficient in fiber and other nutrients
found in fruits and vegetables. It's not surprising then
that a high percentage of the populations in the Western
countries are living on an unhealthy diet and suffering from
obesity.
The only thing that can counter the nutritional quagmire
that we're in is constant exercise. Sadly, a lot of people
find it a challenge to stick to a regular exercise program
and thus are suffering from all sorts of health problems
from diabetes to high blood pressure and heart disease.
A lot of those that manage to find time to squeeze in
exercise programs into their hectic daily schedules
eventually get bored and stop after a few months. Reason for
this is loss of motivation that comes about from inadequate
workouts and insignificant results.
A majority of gym goers or fitness aficionados start workout
programs to lose body fat and get flat six pack abs. When
results come too slow, this results in boredom and because
they become disheartened, a lot of people give up exercising
regularly.
To speed-up the effects of working-out and see something
come out of your fat-loss efforts in a shorter amount of
time, modified exercises that isolate the core muscles
should be done. A program that develops core strength
together with body-fat busting cardio exercises is the key
to fast abs and a lean physique.
The core or center of the body is our midsection and these
are made-up of the upper and lower abdominals, the obliques
and the muscles of the lower back. A lot of people only
focus on conventional ab isolation exercises like sit-ups
and crunches and neglect the lower back region. This causes
an imbalance of core muscle strength and can result in back
pain.
A faster abs workout that can give you a stronger core in
less time can be attained through the use of tools like a
Swiss ball or a Bosu ball. Both of these have round surfaces
which when used as support for the body when executing
abdominal or other resistance exercises will force the core
muscles to work harder. The effort of trying to keep steady
while working out on an unstable surface means more calories
burned and improved core strength faster.
The amount of calories burned while doing abdominal
exercises on an exercise ball or other round surface is
increased significantly compared to doing sit-ups and
crunches flat on one's back. Studies show that more muscle
fibers are engaged in activity when a person is lying on a
round surface. The wider range of motion means more calories
spent and hence a faster abs workout.

Do You Want Effective Weight Loss? Strengthen Your Core
Ask any gym buff what the most difficult part about
working-out is and chances are they'll say it's losing fat
quickly. A major detriment to working-out consistently is
boredom brought about by lack of motivation. Of course,
results will come even slower by skipping workout sessions
regularly.
In muscle development and fat loss, how fast we achieve
results have less to do with body type (ectomorph,
endomorph, etc.) than how we eat and exercise. Losing weight
from body fat reduction really depends on how much excess
calories we have when we hit our pillows at night.
Any fitness expert will tell you that the problem of
fat-loss comes down to creating a calorie deficit- burning
more calories than we take-in through food each day. Due to
the sheer number of novelty diets and workout schemes out
there however, they will not always tell you the fastest way
of getting lean and forming a shredded six pack.
Core-strengthening exercises have recently been recognized
by experts to bring about faster gains in toning-up the body
and losing excess fat. The upper and lower abs, lower back,
the obliques and buttocks make-up our body's foundation- our
core. Strengthening our foundation will inadvertently
improve our strength, endurance and balance also.
The simultaneous activity of the core muscles translates to
more caloric energy being consumed, leading to fast and
effective weight-loss. Adding exercises that improve core
strength to normal workout routines is a good option for
frustrated folks who want results yesterday.
Doing typical workout routines are quite ineffective in
developing core strength. Normal gym routines leave-out
certain muscles of the midsection because of their limited
movement. The same applies to all those traditional cardio
machines, never my favorite weight loss method.
Incorporating Pilates sessions into your weekly workouts
will let you reap the maximum benefits of core exercises
and ensure rapid gains.
The wider range of motion and balancing efforts involved in
Pilates and core exercises recruits more muscle fibers
around the midsection. This entails further usage of stored
calories from body fat, toning-up the body and giving you
faster results and increased motivation.
Increasing the efficiency of your exercise sessions by
maximizing calorie burn can shorten the hours you spend in
the gym- letting you focus on other priorities. Improving
your core-strength will also lessen back pain and injuries
from bad posture at the same time giving you a lean,
well-defined abdomen.

Some Questions On Heart Rate Answered
What is heart rate? Heart rate (HR) is an indicator of the
heart's work and is calculated as number of heart
contractions (beats) in one minute (beats per minute - bpm).
Individual heart rate is very much influenced by physical
fitness of the person, genetics, age and environment.
What is the heart rate reserve? Heart rate reserve is the
difference between the maximum heart rate and so called
resting heart rate. If your maximum heart rate is 200 beats
per minute (bpm) and your resting heart rate is 60 bpm, then
your heart rate reserve is 140 beats per minute (200 - 60).
Trained people usually have larger heart rate reserve than
those who do no sports.
What is recovery heart rate? Recovery heart rate is the
decreased heart rate measured after a period of time after the
training. For example if your heart rate immediately after
the training was 185 beats per minute (bpm) and after 2
minutes your heart rate decreased to 110 bpm, then the 110
bpm represents your recovery heart rate. Together with
maximum heart rate, recovery heart rate also helps to
determine the intensity of your training.
How does the heart rate decrease after training? The time
that the heart needs to decrease its rate to resting rate is
individual. Typically, trained people do have higher maximum
heart rates, their heart can work longer with higher heart
rates, their resting heart rate is lower than the heart rate
of an untrained individual and they need less time to reach
resting heart rate. With a semi-trained person, the heart rate
drops at least 20 beats per minute (e.g. 180 bpm during the
training, 140 bpm or less after 2 minutes).
What is resting heart rate? Resting heart rate represents
the number of heart beats in one minute while you are at rest.
The resting heart rate is best measured if you did not
perform any activity for at least 10 minutes (standing up
from the chair is considered an activity!), ideally after
waking up the natural way, without an alarm (an alarm signal
causes stress in an organism and results in an increased heart
rate) still resting on the bed.
What is maximum heart rate? Maximum heart rate represents
the highest number of heart contractions a person can bear.
As maximum heart rate can be truly measured only during a
moderated stress test under physician's supervision, you can
estimate your maximum heart rate using the following
formula: Maximum heart rate = 220 - age (in years); That
means that if your actual age is 34 years, your maximum
heart rate would be 186 bpm (220 - 34). The maximum heart
rate of a trained person is higher than the maximum heart
rate of the less fit person.
What is normal heart rate? There is nothing like average
normal heart rate. A typical resting heart rate of a medium
conditioned man is approximately 70 bpm. Genetics and mostly
physical fitness play a significant role. The resting
heart rate of a well conditioned sportsman can be as low as
40 bpm as a trained heart works more effectively.
What is a safe heart rate during training? If your heart
is healthy (means you never suffered from a heart disease or
a heart attack) the safe range would be 70-80% of your
maximum heart rate. This doesn't apply to people who are in
cardiac rehabilitation, their exercise heart rate is limited
at maximum 50-60% of their maximum heart rate.
What is the difference between Heart Rate and Heart Rate
Variability? While heart rate refers to the number of times
a heart contracts in one minute, heart rate variability
refers to the beat-to-beat alterations in heart rate.

Training Your Body After Your 40th Birthday
By Ricardo d Argence
They say that age is just a number, but when it comes to
work outs and staying in shape that age factor is a definite
factor in how you will approach your fitness regimen. Some
people want to say that they are over 40 and they use their
age as an excuse for not maintaining a healthy lifestyle and
a regular workout routine.
Regular exercise and staying fit are very important no
matter what your age. If you approach weight training, diet
and work outs the correct way you can maintain a remarkably
healthy and fit body for many years, regardless of your age.
There are many benefits of both weightlifting and
bodybuilding. You can reshape your body, become healthier,
increase bone density and weight loss.
It is well known that individuals who partake in regular
physical fitness tend to have a better outlook on life, and
are balanced emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Exercise
also causes the brain to release endorphins which increase
happiness and the feeling of wellness.
Let's start with some basics, being over 40 means that you
do need to make a few concessions in your workout routine,
but it does not mean that you have to be a victim of false
notions about aging. As we get older, our muscles and joints
are less limber and this means that adequate stretching and
warm up prior to exercising is very important.
A time frame of 15 minutes is needed for stretching routines
so you can increase flexibility and lessen the chance for
muscle pain, sprains or other damage. Your muscles will
become better conditioned the more complete you stretch.
Next is a 15 minute cardio portion on a treadmill,
elliptical, stair master, or a bike. You don't need to strain
yourself when doing this exercise; instead, you just want to
increase your heart rate slightly and continue to tone and
stretch like before. This exercise will let your body know
that you are serious about doing some work.
If you are doing circuit training or a free weight routine,
have a quick run through without the stress of heavy
weights, and then follow this brief warm up by doing reps
with the appropriate weights, the next step should be to work
out with light weights.
When using the pyramid system, you add reps but use less
weight, then you start adding weight and decreasing the
reps, which is how a lot of the bodybuilders do their
workouts. Pay constant attention to your posture. This
method of weightlifting has great success for those who want
to add muscle and bulk to their bodies. Even if it means
decreasing the weights or the amount of repetitions, correct
posture must be your main consideration. This maximizes your
results and reduces your risk of injury.
You should be training with weights at least four days per
week and each session should be no more than 30 to 45
minutes. One could repeat a cardio workout to wind down
after lifting weight. This also give your heart and lungs
strength.

5 Simple Changes to Build Muscle Fast
If your goal is to get 100% better at something, what would
be the best way to go about it? I can think of two ends of
the continuum. The approach you select will be somewhere
along this continuum: doing one thing twice as good (or 100
percent better), or performing 100 activities 1 percent
better. I think that most people attempt the first approach,
but the latter is much more realistic.
Taken a step further, to make each of these small building
blocks more effective, you could also focus on things that
occur outside of your workouts. So you concentrate on
modifying your habits and making tiny improvements in many
areas that will stack on top of one another to bring you
massive benefits.
So here are 5 simple lifestyle changes you can make to help
you build muscle fast.
1) Replace Traditional Cardio with Interval Training
Aerobic exercise has a negative impact on muscle gaining
because it burns branched chain amino acids (BCAA) and
glycogen. Rather, concentrate on HIIT sessions for fat
burning, e.g. a 400-meter sprint followed by a 400-meter
recovery jog, repeated for a total of four times.
2) Increase Total Time Under Load (TTL)
Instead of focusing on the number of reps, concentrate on
the total time your muscles are under load. Try spending 2
seconds on the negative contraction, 1 second at neutral
(bottom of the exercise), and 1 second on the positive
contraction. Emphasizing the negative is an easy way to
overload muscles and promote muscle weight gain.
3) Eat More Fish
Not only is fish high in protein, it is also a natural
source of essential fatty acids, which are vital for both
your muscular health and your overall health. Omega-3's make
your muscles more sensitive to insulin, so they aid glycogen
storage and increase the absorption of amino acids into your
muscles, while also preserving glutamine storage.
4) Mix up your Total Time Under Load
One really easy way to add variety to a workout, confuse
your muscles, and build muscle up is to switch up your
repetition tempo by adding an explosive day once per week,
or an explosive set once per workout. It looks like this:
2-second negative contraction, 1-second neutral, explode as
fast as you can on the positive contraction and repeat.
5) Cheat on your Diet
If you haven't yet read the Cheat to Lose Diet, you should.
It's a pretty interesting theory into how the body
metabolizes food. The short story is that your body burns
fat in response to the presence of a hormone in your body,
and that hormone comes as a direct result of overeating! So
once a week, cheat, and follow your cheat day with two very
low-carbohydrate, high protein days. You'll enjoy the cheat
day and burn more fat to boot.

How To Make Exercise Fun
We all know exercise is good for us, but sometimes its
just a pain in the behind! After a hard day's work, the gym
is one place you don't even want to think about.
Even the thought of exercising at home with your own
equipment can be less than desirable at times.
Sometimes, just trying to get and stay motivated to
exercise on a regular basis can be a challenge. No
matter how you look at it, exercise can be downright
boring and even tedious at times.
So, you may be wondering just how you can get the
motivation you need to exercise on a regular basis.
If you've been wondering what you can do to make
exercise more fun, you'll find some ideas below that
just may help to keep you on the exercise path.
First things first, you should exercise with a friend.
You can challenge each other, help each other out,
keep each other motivated and on track, make each
other laugh or just make a game out of your exercise
programs.
You can also try something different. If you go
to the gym each and every day and use the same
piece of equipment or use the same piece of
equipment at home, you should try mixing things up.
Reverse your routine or just change the order of
your exercises.
Go to a city park that has playground equipment and
use the slide, climb on the monkey bars, do pull-
ups, hang from your knees, just let your imagination
guide you. You don't always need to follow a strict
routine, just get out there and have fun working
your muscles.
An outdoor circuit in the park is also something
you can try. There are some parks that have circuit
courses set up with a planned course where all
you have to do is walk or jog to each station and
then follow the instructions. If there isn't a
planned course, then you should do a combination
of jogging and walking, picking a distance of a
couple hundred feet. Jog 100 feet then drop and
do a couple of push ups, walk the next 100 feet
and then drop to do sit ups.
You can also ride a bike around your neighborhood
or hike on a hiking trail. A walk in the park or
around your neighborhood is also a great way to
get some exercise. Doing yoga in the park or on
a beach is also a nice and relaxing way to
exercise both your body and your mind.
Playing a competitive sport is also something you
can try. A lot of cities have team activities
such as softball, volleyball, tennis, soccer,
and so on. These types of activities will not
only provide you with good exercise but they will
also help you to meet new people as well.
When you exercise, try to picture your muscles
getting bigger. Research has shown that if you
focus all of your thoughts on the muscles that
you are working, they will respond better. Try
to watch them work with each repetition as your
muscles contract and relax.
As you can tell, there are plenty of ways you can
make exercise more fun and interesting. You don't
need to follow the same routine day after day,
as you can do many other things to get in some
exercise.
The important thing is that you should always try
to incorporate exercise in some form into
your everyday life and make these habits the kind
of habits that will last a lifetime.

Men Building Muscle, How to Get Six Pack Abs
If you're up late at night watching TV, chances are, you
will be seeing infomercials. A good portion of those are
probably promoting ab related products. You'll find
machines, medicines, diets of fashion, and workouts that
will promise to give you that beautiful six pack you've
always dreamed about. There are a lot of theories, but are
any of them practical?
Once fads are exposed for what they are, they do not last
long as people move on to the next breakthrough invention.
What are ways to get flat abs if most of these fail?
The truth is, the best way to get a six pack is with a time
tested approach. You might not want to hear this, but the
best way to achieve this goal is through a healthy diet and
exercise. There really aren't any legitimate shortcuts to
getting the body of your dreams. If you do find a way to
drop a few pounds quickly, the weight will probably come
back just as quickly.
After deciding to do exercises, you need to decide what
kinds of exercises are suitable for your requirements. It is
not like you join the bandwagon and start doing exercise
like crazy. Will this give you the six pack of your dreams?
Actually it won't do much at first. Most likely your abs are
under a layer of fat. To see these abs, you need to have no
fat in the way. In what ways can you rid yourself of excess
weight?
Many people have the misconception that they need to
routinely undergo hours worth of jogging on their treadmill.
Interval and weight training are the best way to burn fat quickly,
not long, boring cardio workouts. Proper weight training burns
calories when you are working out and when you are resting.
Your muscles will be like incinerators for calories once
they begin to develop more. As a result of this, you will be
able to burn fat much more rapidly. To add to weight
training workouts, it is a good idea to mix in short bursts
of sprinting workouts.
You should eat healthier in addition to doing the right
exercises. Getting different results in your life requires
you to take different actions. You need to change what
you're eating to obtain a six pack. You should eat foods
which are healthy and drink a whole lot of water. If you
eat good food, that is going to return great results for you.
In general, it's not that hard to develop a six pack. Don't
think it will be a breeze, you will not wake up to a tone,
fit looking body the next day. If you stick to the longterm
process, you will achieve whatever weight loss goals you
set for yourself.
